Defence Acquisition Scheduler

About the Position

We are seeking to engage an experienced Defence Scheduler for an Acquisition Project for a Land project.

The scheduler will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop, implement and improve the project schedule

  • Provide accurate and timely schedule reporting

  • Work collaboratively with partners multiple, geospatially diverse stakeholders to ensure schedules reflect current schedule status.

  • Participate in project workshops and support acquisitions options development in the project

  • Identify gaps and opportunities to improve the schedule and reporting

  • Carry out other Project Controls tasks as required

Project specific tasks will include:
  • Management of the Project/Product Schedules

  • IMS Maintenance

  • CMS Review and Analysis.

  • CMS to IMS Development

  • CMS to IMS Integration and Documentation

  • IMS Integration Development

  • IMS Report Development

  • PD Reporting Development and Documentation

  • Provide input to project managers meetings regarding schedule of activities including MRM, PPR and forward planning for the projects/products

Essential Criteria
  • Demonstrated experience in using OPP working on Defence major capital acquisition projects

Desirable Criteria
  • Qualifications in project support elements relating to Project Management

  • Demonstrated experience working in environments with Commonwealth information security requirements
